Where other airports are hosting various narrow- & widebodies due to COVID-19, we've got our own collection going on. The Cirrus dealer proactively contacted several owners to bring their aircraft in early, just in case borders/airspace would close. This way, maintenance could still be performed. Visible are LN-ELG, D-ECCD, N147LD, N118DF, D-EHEG, D-ERHD, D-ENKH, S5-DKJ, N10PY, PH-TXW, 2-ZERO, 2-KNOW, N603DP, N10MC, N250CK, D-EUPL, D-EWPW, D-ETER, N226ML and D-ENFM (20 in total). Inside the hangars are more aircraft and I estimate that we had about 35 Cirrus aircraft on the ground at the time.

This former Dutch navy Huey was being restored to airworthy condition but the registration lapsed and by 2017 it was in the Aviodrome museum.

The 2020 corona pandemic forced most airlines to withdraw a large part of their fleets from use. This photo shows four KLM 777s and four KLM Asia 777s stored on runway 18L/36R. The A330s and 747s that had been stored here a few days earlier had recently been moved to the hangars at Schiphol East.

A rare opportunity to catch both the police and medevac helicopter in the same shot. The police were doing some training approaches and made a full stop for some fuel. Same goes for the medevac helicopter, which parked next to the other one. Upon their departure, I could take the photo I hoped for.

It was a dreadful morning with lots of rain but suddenly, out of nowhere came this gap inbetween the dark clouds and the sun came through for only a few minutes. I saw the rainbow forming, grabbed my camera and rushed outside. Needless to say, I happily snapped away during the brief moment that this scene was visible.
