Its very hard to believe that the Bumble Bee actually flew. Maybe just long enough to qualify for a flight.

Entered service with USAF in April 1945. Converted to a TB-29 in March 1952. Transferred to Davis-Monthan AFB (4715th Revron) in June 1959. Loaned to Pima in 1975, where the marking of 'Sentimental Journey' were later applied. Some of the wartime stories include crew complaining about the lack of windows in the back. A flack hit fixed that problem for him. Battle damage repairs (on the flap) can also still be seen. The aircraft was part of a squadron where the aircraft were named after the 7 dwarves. This one was named 'Dopey'. another surviving B-29 is the famous 'Doc'. The aircraft was used in the filming of the movie Enola Gay. During the filming, it was discovered that the wartime markings were still etched in the aircraft skin.

The massive Peacemaker has been beautifully restored and is so impressive. Ten engines turning and burning must have made a loud song when it was flying. Only four of them in existence. Named "City of Ft. Worth" on this side, "Justice with Victory" on the other side.

This aircraft entered service with the USAF around 1940, crashed and wrecked in a landing accident at Brooks Field, Texas. To the Commemorative Air Force Airpower Museum at Teaxed between 1974 and 1984. Stored unrestored at Chino, moved to the Yanks Air Museum at Chino by 2002. Seen dismantled on a trailer at Chino in February 2004, likely on the way to Pima (on loan). By 2008, a restoration project was started, which lasted until September 2011.

Created by Robert Starr in 1983/1984, donated to the museum by him in 1990. It's hard to believe it (I know I have trouble with it), but Bumble Bee has really flown (at Marana (KMZJ) With a wingspan of 6 ft 6 inches and a lenght of 9 ft 4 inches, it even holds the World Record for the smallest piloted biplane (dated january 28, 1984).
