'MOKAI' was formerly ZK-AGT with Cook Strait Airways, then impressed as NZ558. After the war became ZK-AHS with Air Travel (NZ) Ltd. NZ's oldest complete twin-engined aircraft, preserved at the Museum of Transport and Technology.

Built 1946. Ex RAAF A52-1053. Served 75 Squadron RNZAF as NZ2305. On long term rebuild at MOTAT.

Has an amazing history: built as NC25630 for United Airlines; impressed by the USAAF as 42-53504; allocated to the RAF as AX756 in September 1941; loaned to BOAC as G-AGCN 'Lake Victoria'; later served with the Spanish Air Force; returned to the USA as N9933F; purchased by Fieldair (NZ) in 1958 and used for agricultural work. Now under restoration at the Museum of Transport and Technology, Auckland.

Delivered new to New Zealand as ZK-BBY. Later re-registered as ZK-BWH. Now displayed at the MOTAT Museum as representative of the Austers operated by the RNZAF.

This homebuilt design is all-wood and powered by a converted Volkswagen engine. On display at MOTAT.

Ex ZK-BUT, displayed as ZK-AFD. To the MOTAT museum in January 1968. The wingless fuselage of the real ZK-AFD (c/n 1095) is displayed at the MOTAT as a cutaway.

Displayed for many years in the open at MOTAT, NZ944 has since been restored and suspended from the roof in the museum's aviation hall.

Built for RAF as L8353 in 1938. Sold in 1949 becoming G- AMMC in 1951 and to ZK-AYW in 1953. Displayed in MOTAT Auckland after retirement wearing pre-war RAF scheme.

Early P-47D recovered from Papua. Wears incorrect serial - should be presented as 28066. Later sold to the USA.

Built by Miles at Reading in 1947 and exported direct to New Zealand. Exhibited at the MOTAT location in a crowded hangar.
