Boeing's Dreamlifter made it's first visit to the UK arriving here at Prestwick for a 2 1/2 hour fuel stop before making a further 10 hour flight to Boeing's Everett factory in the States. Onboard was a Tail section for the prototype Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft that was loaded onto the Freighter at Grottaglie in Italy.

China Airlines' second 747-400 heads back to Taipei. Re-registered B-18272 in November 1999, it was sold back to Boeing in 2004 as N780BA. Along with Air China's first (B-161/B-18271) and two China Airlines 747-400s, they were converted to Large Cargo Freighters, now known as Dreamlifters.
