The Sea Fury originated as the Fury and aircraft built for Iraq and Pakistan reverted to that name. Iraq's order included five two-seaters, designated as Fury Trainers. These preceded the Sea Fury T.20, lacking the latter's 'perspex tunnel' interlinking the two cockpits, and the 'Fury Mk.20' designation given by Scramble seems off. Unfortunately for the Iraqis, the arrangement with separate canopies was 'prone to collapse at high speeds'. This photo was added on 11 May 2025, and has since been viewed 170 times. |
