The non-naval variety of the Sea Fury was known as the Fury. Iraq's order included five two-seaters, designated as Fury Trainers. These preceded the Sea Fury T.20, lacking the latter's 'perspex tunnel' interlinking the two cockpits, and the 'Fury Mk.20' designation given by Scramble seems incorrect. Unfortunately for the Iraqis, the arrangement with separate canopies was 'prone to collapse at high speeds'.
