slide taken by Norbert Kröpfl. - Calair acquired 5 Boeing 720s from Eastern Airlines in 1970, but the airline went into liquidation early in 1972. Together with 2 sisterships, D-ACIP found a new home in Rhodesia (later Zimbabwe), and after 1988 the airliner even saw further service with Zairean Air Charter Service as 9Q-CTD, before being withdrawn at Kinshasa.
