Delivered to the USAAF as 42-72257 in 1944. To Douglas in 1946 and converted to DC-4 conversion number 35. To Pan American as N88923 in 1947 and Avianca as HK-178 in 1953. Sold as CF-JIR in 1956 and used by a number operators then to Florida Caribbean Air Lines as N3802 in 1969. Impounded at Fort Lauderdale in 1971. Went through further ownership changes, ended up with B&B Aircraft Service in 1976 and stored at Fort Lauderdale. Scrapped in 1984.
