This C-47 was built in Oklahoma City and TOC with the USAAF as 43-49194. In February 1946 it became D-21 with the Czechoslovak AF and flew with the Air Transport Regiment (Letecký dopravní pluk - LDP, which later became LDP.1, and after further re-organisation 1.ldp and then 1.dlp). In 1957 the frame was given the new serial 9194 and flew with the Czechoslovaks until 1960, after which it went to the French AF as 49194 and after decommissioning became F-OGFI. Sometime later the frame was scrapped and only the nose is on display at this super museum. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
