This Mustang was TOC by the USAF as 44-84634 and then around 1955 by the Fuerza Aérea de la Guardia Nacional (Nicaragua) as GN 96. From 1992 until 2002 it underwent a full restoration to emerge as 'Big Beautiful Doll' and is pictured here as part of the ILA 2010 flying display. Alas, on 5th Feb. 2016 this Mustang crashed near Maricopa, AZ whilst performing aerobatics with the sad loss of the two on board. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
