The Overstrand was a warmed-up Sidestrand bomber. The powered nose turret was something of a novelty. Bristol Pegasus II engines in curious nine-sided cowlings. This was the first prototype, converted from a Sidestrand. New Type number 13 at the 1934 Hendon pageant.
