Delivered to the RAF as ZA406 in 1983. Converted to a Tornado GR.4 in 2001/2. Scrapped at Leeming in 2017.

Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1995.

Operated by 1 TRS / 10 TRW. The aircraft was retired to AMARC on July 23rd 1992, and later transferred to Tracor Inc. at Mojave, CA., where it was converted to QRF-4C AF110. It was destroyed in a missile test whilst flying from Tyndall AFB, FL., on March 25th 1998. (With thanks to Joe Baugher's excellent US Military Serials web site for this information).

Consigned to AMARC as FP592 on Dec 12 1990, moved to BAE Systems at Mojave on Jan 16, 2007 and converted to QF-4E drone AF329. Flew its last unmanned mission over White Sands Missile Range, NM., on Aug 17 2016, and ended up as an air-to-ground target at that Range.
