Mar'68: While flying in operation Blind Bat in Vietnam, aircraft suffered serious damage from anti-aircraft fire, including inflight fire inside and outside aircraft. Sent back to USA. Nov'68 to Jun'69: Extensive repairs by Lockheed, converted to NC-130A. Feb'71: 21st TAS, Ching Chuan Kang Air Base, Taiwan. Dec'73: 64th TAS/928th Airlift Wing (AFRES), O'Hare Airport, Chicago, IL.
