The company replaced a Beech 99 by the same regi in the Summer of 2013 by this Jetstream, and had it redesignated from subtype 3201 into 3212. This means it started operating on a TCAG (Transport Canada Aviation Group) certificate, in stead of one from the FAA.

Leased in 1989, this Jetstrean came to Canada new as C-GQRO for Air Toronto. Later leased to Corporate Express, Alberta City Link (now registered C-GEAZ) and Peace Air before coming to Northwestern Air in December 2008.

On a scheduled flight to Yellowknife. Later to Sunwest Aviation and used as a freighter, it is still current at the time of uploading.
