On display at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. From traditional bombing, the two-seat F-100F developed into Iron Hand, Fast FAC and weather recce roles. The first Wild Weasel I unit was the 354th TFS flying the F-100F from Takhli using APR-25/26 RHAW against SA-2 and AAA sites. This F-100F was a Misty FAC assigned to the 416th TFS, 37th TFW at Phu Cat AB and was flown by two eventual Chiefs of Staff. The only Misty FAC Medal of Honor recipient was Maj. George "Bud" Day, one among almost a quarter of the 155 Misty pilots to be shot down.
