One of the many Vampires that surfaced from storage at Woodford in the late 1960s and early 1970s having been stored there for potential resale. Many were subsequently donated to ATC squadrons and colleges all over the country. XK627 arrived here in January 1973 and moved on to the Pennine Aviation Museum in November 1977. After passing through several more owners, the cockpit survives with the Davidstow Airfield & Cornwall at War Museum in Cornwall in late 2025.
