Built as PFA 067-10186. Registered 22 September 1977. First flew 22 June 1980 at Hucknall. Substantially damaged 18 September 1982 in a heavy landing at Hucknall, when the undercarriage broke up and the aircraft nosed over onto its back. Cancelled -8 December 1986 as Permanently Withdrawn From Use (PWFU). Repaired and acquired by the RAF Museum, from whom it is currently on loan at Stow Maries.

Tabloid replica being built for Brooklands Museum

This is a replica of the aircraft that won the 1914 Schneider Trophy race as number '3' and was flown by Howard Pixton at an average speed of 86.75 mph (139.6 km/h) along the coast at Monaco. After he completed the course he opened up the throttle and flew another two laps and achieved a speed of 92 mph (148 km/h), which set a new world record for seaplanes. The replica was handed over to the museum 27 November 2013.
