Built in 1927 and fitted with an OX-5 engine. Post-war fitted with Continental W670 engine and maintained airworthy. I flew in it this day when it was 79 years old. This type was used on internal US Air Mail Route C.A.M.5 in the late 1920s. and it wears Fleet No. 3 to record that era.

Built in 1928 by the Swallow Airplane Manufacturing Company in Wichita KS. Initially fitted with a Wright J-5 and designated Swallow J-5. Originally operated by UAL on US Air Mail Route CAM.5 from Chicago to Minneapolis. Later fitted with a Continental R-670 with which it is still (2018) registered as airworthy by the Museum of Flight Foundation.
