This 319 was delivered originally in December 2002 to Mexicana as N866MX. It is pictured here in MIA being prepared for delivery one week later to AeroGal. It subsequently went on to Avianca but from November 2016 has been flying with flynas as VP-CYE.
Parked in front of the Rutaca hangars in Ciudad Bolivar, this AeroGal B737-200 without registration. According to most databases this should be HC-CFR, sold to Rutaca in 2011, I presume for parts, as their flying business had already been reduced to minimal.
AeroGal, started out with flights between the mainland of Ecuador to the Galapagos Islands, but slowly increased their number of destinations. In 2013 they were also flying between Quito and Medellin, Colombia. This A319 is a former Mexicana aircraft.
