K25 slide scan. Built 1957 as CV-340 D-ACAP for Lufthansa. Converted to CV-640 as 7T-VAR and delivered to Air Algerie 1968. Atlas Aircraft Corp N848TA April 1981. High Line Airways C-GQCQ September 1981, merged into Norcanair 1984, merged into Time Air 1987. Canada West Air 1988, stored Tucson 1990. Reregistered N55AP 1993 but remained stored in Time Air colours until scrapped late 1990's.

Registered to North Canada Air at the time however in my log book I wrote Empress Airlines so unless it was flying for CP Air using the "Empress" call-sign, it was most likely with a short lived operator who left no trace on the internet. A year later it was with Time Air painted in Canadian Airlines livery as per Photo ID: 187464.

Owned by Atlas Aircraft Corporation. Still in the basic cols of previous operator Air Algerie ex 7T-VAR. Originally a Convair 440 with Lufthansa D-ACAP (which I happened to see at Brussels 2 Aug 66)! It was sold to High Line Airways in Dec 82 as C-GQCQ.

Originally built for Lufthansa as D-ACAP in 1957 and converted to 640 in 1968 while with Air Algérie. Later became N55AP and cancelled by the FAA on 30 July 2013.
