Pictured during a squadron exchange with the F-15C/Ds of the Soesterberg based 32nd TFS. This Tornado F3 was first flown on 30 June 1988, and delivered to the RAF on 15 August 1988. It served since 23/F sqn, 229 OCU, 56 Sqn, 1435 Flight, 111 Sqn, 43 Sqn. The swing-winger was withdrawn from use in July 2009. It made its very last flight on 10 August 2009, from Leuchars to Leeming. At the latter it was stripped and eventually scrapped by March 2015.

Very occasionally an RAF Tornado will do an overshoot at Glasgow Airport and I was very lucky to catch this one as it did a low flypast above the runway.
