Registered as PH-EXM in 1985 before delivery to Air Wisconsin and operated for United Express as N509AW in 1986. To Alpenair as OE-IGN in 1991 then to Amadeus Air in 1992, Cesna as N509AW in 1995 and NEPC Airlines as VT-NEJ in 1996. Withdrawn from use at Coimbatore, India by 2002. Moved to a location near Vasant Palace by 2022.

This F.27 was originally delivered to Air Wisconsin in March 1986 as N509AW. It was bought by Alpenair in May 1991 as OE-IGN and then to Amadeusair in August 1992 but at the time of this photograph the plane had been leased to Ratioflug. In January 1995 the plane was bought by Cessna and exported to India as VT-NEJ with NEPC Airlines. It last appears to have been reported as stored at Madras but may also have been scrapped.

Winter evening reveals a pair of derelict F-27s parked at Coimbatore airport. The aircraft parked behind is VT-NEB c/n 10690. Chennai-based NEPC and its subsidiary Skyline NEPC went out of business in Sep 1997 after failing to pay Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
