This Huey Cobra operated in concert with the Army Flight Dynamics Directorate (AFDD). Ex US Army 66-15248, it later received the civil registration N736NA.

NASA was using this AH-1G for rotorcraft research. It was assigned to the NASA Ames Research Center from 1 March 1978 - 27 May 1985. It is now at the US Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker, AL.
