Originally built as a DC-3-454 for Delta Air Lines, but instead it was delivered to USAAF in January 1943 as C-53J 43-1988. When slide was taken in 1967 N37F was owned by Oklahoma Pipeline Construction Co.

Cancelled order for Delta. Delivered to the USAAF as C-49J 43-1988 in 1943. To CF-TDL in 1945, N37F in 1954, N76LP in 1975, N37FL in 1981, XA-SCF in 1992 and back to N37FL in 1994. Impounded at Cancun, Mexico for drug running before 2011. Possibly still there in 2021 at 21.045272N 86.870981W.

Owned by Lynbird International. Although painted on the aircraft the registration N125SF was apparently not taken up and the aircraft remained officially registered N37FL.

Registered to Monair at the time.

Corporate DC-3s always look good. However, after this photo was taken most windows were blanked out presumably for cargo work.

In freighter configuration.

Built in 1942 as a DC-3-454 with Wright Cyclone engines, impressed as a C-49J in 1943 by the USAAF, returned to civil service with Trans-Canada Air Lines in 1945 as CF-TDL. Converted to DC-3(A) with Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp engines and Viewmaster windows in the 1950s and became N37F. Finally to N76LP, N37FL, XA-SCF and back to N37FL. Currently stored at Cancun, Mexico.
