A prototype of the massive Tu-128 interceptor can be found in the museum at Monino. A total of 198 of these long-range aicraft were built, which is condisered the largest and heaviest fighter ever built. The type served from 1964 up until 1990. This particular example joined the collection on 2 February 1973.
