VH-BCM acquired by Super Spread in November 1956, Immediately reregistered it VH-SST but this marking was never applied. Super Spread returned it to the previous owner in February 1956 and it was registered VH-BCM again. In July 1957 it was cancelled from the register as withdrawn from use. BCM remained stored in a hangar at Camden aerodrome until acquired by the Camden Air Museum in 1964. It is at the time of upload still part of the collection, in fake RAF markings as NP336. The museum is closed to the public.

This aircraft is ex VH-BCM, a postwar civil aircraft that was withdrawn from use in 1957. In 1964, after Proctor 5s were grounded due to concerns about glues used in construction, it was donated to the Camden Museum of Aviation. It restored the aircraft as NP336, which was part of the Governor-General's Flight from 1945 to 1947. The real NP336 became VH-BNB. Peter Ricketts photo
