Many former army Bo105Ms found their way on to the civilian market, however this example was kept for preservation purposes with the Fliegerhorstmuseum Leipheim, where it arrived on 23 August 2023.

This Bo.105 also carried the registration D-HZYE at some point. This very interesting museum is housed in Building 361, the former ammunition assembly building, of the now closed Leipheim AB. The museum aims to keep alive the history of the base that operated from 1935 to 2009
