Still in Universal Airlines livery from a previous lease.

Delivered new 30th Nov 1967 and leased to various airlines before being sold to Flying Tigers as N861FT 1st June 1978

At the North Passenger Terminal. This aircraft had just returned from lease to Universal Airlines and was still in basic Universal colors with Trans International titles.

The horizontal stripes of this livery make this aircraft appear to be even longer, and when the slide returned from processing my first thought was that I had photographed the sky and ramp--with only a thin line of airplane separating them.

First flown by Trans International as N8962T when new in 11.67 and later by Universal, Seaboard, Loftleidir, Flying Tigers and Transamerica before a period of lease took her back to TIA. Seen here on a misty afternoon departing from Heathrow's cargo area, she passed to UPS in 5.85 becoming N700UP on conversion to Srs 71CF; now stored at Roswell, NM
