The DC-3 was a largish airliner in the 1930s but it could still be landed in any large field. Zenda is a hamlet in Ontario, named for the 1894 Anthony Hope Hawkins novel The Prisoner of Zenda. When the book was filmed in 1937, twelve inhabitants - said to be the entire population - were flown to the movie's New York premiere. Tilsonburg (CYTB) is near Zenda but dates from WWII.
