The cockpit of Gina 3211 of the West-German Air Force could be found with the collection at Merseburg at the time. It was first reported in February 1998 at this location.

At its peak in January 1970, the Luftwaffe fleet consisted of 310 G.91 R/3 and 40 G.91T aircraft. However, the Luftwaffe was always rather disappointed by the type's perfomance and so they were gradually replaced by the Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet. The last G.91 aircraft was officially retired in 1982. This restored nose section is on display at the Luftfahrt- und Technik-Museumspark Merseburg.
