N495F made its last international flight on 27 September 1972 when it flew Sfax - Luqa. On 28 September it made its last flight ever from Luqa to Hal Far where it was withdrawn from use and in later years dumped in a Birzebbuga scrapyard. Fortunately it was saved and now resides at the Malta Aviation Museum.

Ex USAAF C-45F 44-87045, USAF C-45H 52-10958, N8176H (NTU), N3114G, N114G. Last operated by Zapata Off Shore Oil Company. After its withdrawal from service in 1972 it was stored in a state of dereliction before it was transferred to Kasparel's scrapyard at Birzebbuga in 1978 but remained intact. Registration cancelled 17 June 1981. In 1991 it was transferred to the International Fire Training Centre at the old Hal Far airport site for non-destructive work. It went to the museum in 1996. Not the best conditions for photography in one of the WWII blister hangars.
