This registration was cancelled on 5th September 2006 and the aircraft was transferred to the US marks N989Y. However, in January 2011 it was placed on the Australian register where it now flies as VH-JDB. Note the name LoPresti on the cowling and under the Piper emblem on the fuselage, indicating that the aircraft has received some of that company's performance enhancing modifications.

Built 1965. Ex N8831P, 5Y-AFX, to G-BAHG -2 Nov. 1972, re-registered G-UVNA 30 July 2003, cancelled to USA -5 Sept.2006, registered N989Y 11 Sept. 2006. Cancelled on export to Australia 14 May 2010. Carries the LoPresti logo on the cowling and that name below the Piper title on the fuselage, so may have incorporated some modification produced by LoPresti Aviation of Florida.

Fitted with a LoPresti kit. Registered in Australia in January 2011.
