This registration was cancelled on 5th September 2006 and the aircraft was transferred to the US marks N989Y. However, in January 2011 it was placed on the Australian register where it now flies as VH-JDB. Note the name LoPresti on the cowling and under the Piper emblem on the fuselage, indicating that the aircraft has received some of that company's performance enhancing modifications.
