The first Learjet 28, used by Neil Armstrong to set 5 FAI records in 1979. Donated to the Armstrong Museum in August 2020, flown into the airport that bears his name, AXV. Moved to the museum grounds proper in June of 2022. Built in 1979, originally N9RS (as she was when Neil flew her), to N9KH, N128MA, N3AS, becoming N128LR in 2004 with Shamrock Foods, keeping that reg with several owners until her donation.

The last of five Learjet 28s built. Registered as N8LL in 1979 then N500LG in 1987. Last flight in 2015 and stored at Visalia, CA. Cancelled from the register in 2017. Restored to the register in 2022.

Only five Learjet 28s were built. Registered as N39404 in 1978, N511DB in 1979, XC-VSA in 1981 and XB-VSA in 2019.

The first of only five built! The unsuccessful Gates Learjet 28 Longhorn is based on the 25 but introduced a new increased span wing fitted with winglets, which improved fuel efficiency and overall performance, particularly payload range and fuel economy. The Longhorn 28 seats up to eight passengers.
