Newly converted by Faireys at Stockport and Manchester Ringway by the fitment of a second rear cockpit for advanced pilot training.

Converted from Firefly FR.1 at Ringway in 1952. Served 1841 Squadron RNVR at RNAS Stretton, Cheshire, from May 1954 to October 1955 as an advanced trainer. Silver with yellow "trainer band" at rear.

RNNAS Firefly T.2 converted from a Firefly FR.1. Originally for the UK Fleet Air Arm as PP494, but diverted on the production line. The aircraft stands outside Fairey's 1937-built hangar at Ringway which still wears wartime camouflage.

Netherlands Navy Firefly T.2 12-11 (L-11) had been delivered as a Firefly F.1 with serial 6-1 (F-1), ex Royal Navy PP458. It is seen at Fairey Aviation's Ringway facility for modifications. According to Dutch sources the conversion to trainer already took place in 1947.
