Once production had started, it was decided that the Hotspur was too small to be used in operations. Instead, due to the good handling characteristics, it became the main training glider for the Army and over 1,000 were produced, mainly by furniture manufacturers. This exhibit is a composite replica containing the original rear fuselage of HH379.
