This 1958 Skylark hadn't flown for nearly 20 years when Ragwood Refactory aircraft restorers and the owner turned it into a fun STOL bushplane. With only the budget as a constraint, it was converted to a tail dragger, vortex generators added to the wings and tail, along with Alaskan Bushwheels and Cessna 180 gear legs, a bigger Continental O-470 engine, leading edge slats (adapted from Carbon Concepts Piper Cub custom parts) are only some of the changes. The unique aircraft was once described as "all function, no form".

Early Cessna 172 and 175 easily mistaken for a Skywagon when converted to tail dragger. The give-away is the relatively puny vertical tail.
