N6675D was operated by New York Aiways in the 1960s, before joining the Columbia fleet. Was operated by their subsidiary Columbia Helicopters New Zealand Ltd, mainly for forestry operations as a heavy lift helicopter. Became ZK-HCW on 11 October 2005, reverted to N6675D on 20 April 2007.

It's past five o'clock so the Vertol 107 prototype has probably just returned from its amphibious demonstration on a nearby lake. The same aircraft also visited Europe in 1959.
