Photographer not known. XP666 was based at Church Fenton with No. 7 FTS. Also in shot are USAF F-100D 56-3011 of the 20th FBW (based at Wethersfield), a Shackleton MR.2 of No, 204 Squadron (based at Ballykelly) and, in the distance, a couple of the based Vulcans. XP666 had an interesting career, being sold back to BAC in 1967 and successively serving with the South Yemen AF and then the Singapore AF before returning to the UK for civilian use as G-JETP. It was last reported dumped in fairly poor condition at Paphos in Cyprus.
