Despite being registered at the time of the photo, VH-UNI was stored with flat tyres and its prop missing alongside parts of the engine. Wynwood is a large farm in western New South Wales. The aircraft was later acquired by The Katherine Museum in Northern Territory and restored to static display condition. It had been used by pioneering Katherine-based flying doctor Clyde Fenton in the 1930s Mike Madden photo

VH-UNI has belonged to the museum since the late 1980. In 1934 it was flown by Dr Clive Fenton, a pioneering flying doctor in Katherine, until it crashed. UNI was later rebuilt and flew on in New South Wales until the 1960s. Registration finally cancelled in 2000 over 30 years after its final flight.
