VH-UBN crashed as Aseki, Papua New Guinea, on May 17, 1973. NAMASU was the first company in Papua New Guinea owned jointly by nationals and Europeans. Its motto Kompani Bilong Yumi is Pidgin for "company that belongs to you and me". The aircraft name means sea eagle but is now normally spelt "tarangau".
