At the Avalon Airshow 2011, Day Five. The Albatros was actually the primary trainer in the Soviet jet fighter pilot schools, just like the PC-9. They didn't have to ever fly propeller-driven aircraft at any stage in their career

Charlie Camilleri's Albatros made its first post-restoration public appearance at the Narromine Airshow. Unfortunately it went u/s after refuelling in Dubbo on the morning of the air display and thus didn't get to be seen by most visitors to the show. First registered on 30 March 2007.

It's not often you see a jet operating off grass! This aircraft was initially operated by the Ukraine Air Force as 'white 01'. Sold on the civil marked an exported to South Africa, it was bought whilst on the sea and shipped on to Australia. Trucked to Bathurst and restored - currently based there. Registered VH-LCJ on 30 March 2007.
