This Acacia Helicopters Robbie was built in 1990 and registered N910AS, later to Japan as JA7850. It came to Australia in 1997 and was registered VH-KKL(2) on 27 August that year. Seen here air-taxying for an evening departure.

VH-KKL crashed at Cobbitty, on Sydney's south-western outskirts, on June 30, 1977. All three on board died when the aircraft dived into ground after pilot suffered a heart attack. It appears the backseat passenger tried unsuccessfully to fly the aircraft. Despite the severe damage, 22 years later it returned to the register as VH-AUM.
