Delivered new to Ansett in January 1991.In March 2003 return to lessor and in August to Nouvelair Tunesie (TS-ING). In November 2006 to Ural Airlines (VP-BQY). In 2015 broken up at Tarbes/Lourdes( LDE).

When VH-HYI arrived in Melbourne from Toulouse in January 1991 the airline had already adopted a new livery, presumably too late for Airbus to apply. The aircraft was ferried the "long way round" via the US. Whether it had titles is not clear but at the time photo it didn't. -HYI entered service on February 24 and is assumed the new livery had been applied. This aircraft would fly the last Ansett service on March 5, 2002. Sold in Germany as D-AKFW later that year. Mike Madden photo
