Delivered to the RAF as Vampire T.11 XH308 in 1956. Stored at St.Athan in 1961. To Hawker Siddeley Aviation in 1964 then to the Swiss Ar Force as Vampire T.55 U-1234 in 1968. Sold and registered as G-DHAV in 1995. Destroyed in a fatal crash at the Biggin Hill Air Fair in 2001.

U-1234 was flown to North Weald in 1991, but according to G-INFO civil registration G-DHAV was not issued before October 1995. Therefore this picture was taken before the Vampire entered the UK civil register and I listed it as being 'stored'. This Vampire was lost in a fatal crash on 2 July 2001.
