On short final approach to Runway 31 at Prestwick. Delivered new to LTU in 1973 as D-AERA after being test flown as N1181L. Transferred to Eastern Airlines as N372EA in 1981. Subsequently leased out for short periods to Air America, American Trans Air and Air Algérie. Joined Cathay Pacific in 1990 as VR-HMV. Became SE-DTD of Nordic East Airways in 1995. Finally operated by Air Atlanta Icelandic from August 1996 until withdrawn from use and put into storage in July 1998. Broken up at Manston Airport, UK in 2000.
