Associated Mission Aviation (AMA) was founded in 1959 to support the humanitarian work of the Catholic Church in Papua. AMA serves some 400 remote airstrips using PC-6's, Cessna 208 Caravan's and at least one PAC 750. PK-RCZ pictured here at its homebase in Sentani-Jayapura is the 3rd of a total of seven Pilatus Porters AMA operated since April 1998. Unfortunately, two were lost in accidents, among them PK-RCZ on August 9, 2008, some 10 days after this pictures was taken. This 1994 built airframe first flew with the Ecuadorian Army as E-195 (till 1996).
