The aircaft has recently come out of maintenance and is now sporting a new livery. It now looks the same as the PH-KFC.

The start and end of an era for the KLM Flight Academy. For a long time, Beech 58's have been the backbone of their multi-engine fleet, with 4 aircraft in total. Now, the DA42 will take over. -KFA is the first DA42 for the school and was delivered this morning. A second aircraft may join the fleet in the near future. Ex. G-SSCA.

"Jan Dellaert" sitting at the apron, waiting for the next flight. PH-KFA entered the Dutch register on May 12, 1966. On May 3, 1972 the registration was cancelled and the frame returned to the KLu as C-9. It was wfu on Oct 24, 1995 and eventually scrapped and broken up at Woensdrecht in Oct 2002.

Delivered new to Royal Netherlands Air Force in January 1961. Leased to NLM from August 1966 until February 1972 for operation on internal schedules. Named "Jan Dellaert".
