N101B was part a fleet of helicopters and planes used by Australian Petroleum Co (APC) for oil and mineral exploration in Papua New Guinea. World Wide Air Services operated the aircraft which were later transferred to the Australian register. N101B became VH-WWD in April 1956 and crashed in October 1958.
