The Royal Malaysian Air Force (Tentara Udara Diraja Malaysia - TUDM) operates two VIP S-70's since 1997. The 2nd is M46-02 (c/n 702374) and even though staffed by RMAF personnel, both helicopters are under the direct control of - and take orders from - the Prime Minister's Office. There were plans in 2015 that both helis would be transferred back to the RMAF and join four ex Brunei DF S-70's which were about to be handed over to Malaysia, but the deal with Brunei fell through. Note the external fuel tanks.
